St. Paul - Diverse Classrooms: Behavior Management

Anytime you work an assignment, you are working with individuals from very different backgrounds and experiences.  These differences can extend to nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, special need, socio-economic status, etc.  While diversity is a strong asset to the classroom, it can provide some challenges to navigate.  Through both instruction and group discussions, we'll discuss and apply strategies to prevent and address behavior in a way that is respectful of all our students.

This free in-person event will take place on Monday, May 1 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Saint Anthony Park Library, located at 2245 Como Ave. in the Saint Anthony Auditorium. Those who attend the session will receive a completion certificate.  Registration for the event is required.

As a bonus, feel free to bring a friend with you.  TOC will have a recruiter and some additional staff onsite from 4:00pm-5:00pm to answer any questions they may have about who we are, what we do, and how to get started.  And don’t forget about our $100 referral bonus program!
