Webinar - Verbal Intervention Skills

In this 2-hour virtual session, we will cover verbal intervention skills as laid out by the Crisis Prevention Institutes.  This training follows content provided in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, in that we will cover levels of crisis, signs of escalating behavior, verbal intervention skills and strategies.  Course will be held virtually on Saturday, June 10 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm (Central).

This training is designed both for individuals new to this content, as well as those who have completed the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training and want to refresh their skills.  This training is free to attend for any active Teachers On Call substitutes and requires no materials.  As a note, as this training is not using the NCI physical materials, no blue CPI cards will be issued.  A certificate will be emailed 24-hours after the completion of the course. (This training will not qualify you to work in ISD 287)
