We are excited to host our second Substitute Forum! We will be gathering for about an hour and a half to two hours once a month to discuss various topics, utilizing the experience of not only the TOC office staff, but our substitutes as well. This is a great chance for all of us to gain and give advice regarding some of the concerns and issues that we face everyday as a substitute. Our next forum will be held on Tuesday, April 24th, from 4pm – 6pm in our office at 3001 Metro Drive, Suite 200, Bloomington, MN 55425.
As Spring begins to warm up, the sun begins to shine and the school year gets closer to summer vacation, our students more easily become distracted and restless. They lose focus in the classroom in the hopes of freedom of the now warm outdoors. Our April Forum will be discussing types of motivational/reward systems, ice breakers, class games and filler activities. Bring your questions, suggestions and own ideas in how you keep students motivated during the day.
Space in the room is limited, so make sure you sign up quick! If registration is full and you would like to be placed on a waiting list, or if you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
