River Falls, WI - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training

Teachers On Call will be providing the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (by the Crisis Prevention Institute) for all subs interested in learning about intervention techniques on Monday, January 20th from 8:30am - 4:30pm at Rocky Branch Elementary in their Multipurpose Room. This training was designed by CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) to help educators focus on prevention tactics when dealing with behavior management. Participants will learn different strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. This training will help reduce the risk of injury, it complies with legislative mandates, meets accreditation standards, improves staff retention, and promotes care and safety for all individuals.
There is a $25.00, which will be refunded after completion of this training. As a special bonus, the River Falls School District has arrange to pay all current TOC substitutes who attend a $100 stipend. Please follow the instructions and pay the deposit through PayPal when registering. All participants who complete the day's training will be NCI certified for 2 years. Lunch will be provided.
