Bloomington, MN - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training

Teachers On Call will be providing the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (by the Crisis Prevention Institute) for all substitute teachers, and those needing to be certified/recertified to sub in ISD 287, on Thursday, April 6 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. This training was designed by CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) to help educators focus on prevention tactics when dealing with behavior management. Participants will learn different strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. This training will help reduce the risk of injury, it complies with legislative mandates, meets accreditation standards, improves staff retention, and promotes care and safety for all individuals.

Cost for the training is $25.00, which includes all materials. After registering for the event, you'll need to get back into the event, select "register now" and then press the gold "Pay Now" icon to process the payment.  Please follow the instructions login to a PayPal account, or pay as guest.
