National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week

May 4th – May 8th is National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week
National Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week, also known as Sub Week, is five days dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of education professionals that fill in at the schools everyday across the United States. This nation wide event is recognized by the US House of Representatives, schools and school districts around the country, and by the team here at Teachers On Call.
We at Teachers On Call want to thank all of our substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for all their valuable work that is done in the schools and with students. We know that substituting can sometimes be a challenging assignment, and we appreciate our education professionals being ready every day to jump in and help out in the classrooms.
Teachers On Call is celebrating this week by partnering with our schools and districts to thank and honor our substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for all their hard work. We are celebrating our substitutes with various programs throughout the week and the month of May.
This week is about honoring great education professionals in our community and in our schools! Thank a substitute teacher or paraprofessional today!
