We are pleased and excited to announce the 2016-2017 Teachers On Call Substitutes of the Year!  While we are extremely proud of the work all of our substitutes have put in this year, these individuals have demonstrated exemplary performance on the job, high levels of professionalism, and are respected and adored by both the Teachers On Call staff and the schools we service. We are so humbled to be able to work with the caliber of educators that we do each day, and really wanted to take this opportunity to  highlight our Substitutes of the Year for shining so brightly in the classroom and for being all around stand out employees this past school year!
James Tracy - Wisconsin
Jack Stronstad - Minnesota Public Schools
Joshua Borchardt - Minnesota Charter Schools
Cameron Butler - Early Childcare Centers
Each of these winners received excellent feedback from the schools they substitute in, and have been a pleasure for us to work with here at TOC.  Some of the things they most enjoy about working with Teachers On Call are the students and staff they have the privilege of working with each day, the flexibility in their schedules, and being able to witness the growth and development in the students they teach.  From High School to Elementary aged students and Social Studies to Special Education, each of these substitutes feels most comfortable in one area or another.  However, part of what makes them exceptional substitutes is their ability to excel in their preferred areas of teaching, as well as those they may not be as comfortable in.  It truly takes a talented individual to successfully work as a substitute teacher.
We so appreciate all of the incredible work that each and every one of our substitutes has done, and we can't wait to see what the next school year has in store!
