Orientation is for brand new substitute educators at Teachers On Call or those who are interested in substituting. We will be discussing Teachers On Call, what we do, who we hire year-round, and tips and tricks on how to use the Absence Management system. Feel free to bring a friend or anyone who may be interested in making a difference and working with students! Looking forward to seeing you.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training - Twin Cities (FULL)

Teachers On Call, Room 110, Lower Level

Teachers On Call will be providing the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (by the Crisis Prevention Institute) on Thursday, March 23 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. This training was designed by CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) to help educators and human service workers to focus on prevention tactics when dealing with behavior management. Participants will learn different strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. This training will help reduce the risk of injury, it complies with legislative mandates, meets accreditation standards, improves staff retention, and promotes care and safety for all individuals.
