Teachers On Call will be providing the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (by the Crisis Prevention Institute) on Thursday, March 23 from 8:30am - 4:00pm. This training was designed by CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) to help educators and human service workers to focus on prevention tactics when dealing with behavior management. Participants will learn different strategies for safely defusing anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. This training will help reduce the risk of injury, it complies with legislative mandates, meets accreditation standards, improves staff retention, and promotes care and safety for all individuals.
The Department of School Climate and Support from St. Paul Public Schools would like to invite you to attend a Youth Mental Health First Aid training course and/or share information about this course with those who may benefit from the training--including community partners.
